No. There is no transferability from one device to another with the Absolute Resilience for Student Devices offer.
The Absolute Resilience for Student Devices Offer is available on Windows devices only.
There are no minimums in terms of Absolute Resilience for Student Device license purchases. However, a minimum of 500 accumulated and unexpired Absolute Resilience for Student Device or Missing Device Reclamation (MDR) add-on licenses are needed to execute the MDR program.
These licenses may be purchased incrementally and at any time before program execution is requested and may include licenses in prior years as long as the accumulated total of unexpired licenses is 500.
Example:
New Customer A purchases 300 3-year Student licenses in March of 2022 and another 300 3-year Student licenses in March of 2023 and then requests to execute MDR program in July of 2023. New Customer A would qualify because they have 600 unexpired Student licenses in total at the time of request to execute program.
Customer A does not purchase any additional licenses and then requests to execute MDR program again in July of 2024 and July of 2025. Customer A would qualify to run program in July of 2024 because it still has 600 unexpired Student licenses, but not in July 2025 because it then only has 300 unexpired Student licenses at time of request.
No. The Absolute Service Guarantee is not included in the Absolute Resilience for Student Devices offer. However, for mixed license environments, the Service Guarantee would still apply to a subset of devices associated with a Resilience or Resilience for Education license that does include Service Guarantee versus those associated with the Absolute Resilience for Student Devices offer.
In comparison to Absolute Resilience for Education, the Absolute Resilience for Student Devices Offer combines device management features and an annual missing device reclamation (MDR) service.
